By using Following Steps You can Install IIS (Internet Information Services)
Step 1: Go to ‘Start’ then point to ‘Settings’ then go to ‘Control Panel’ and click it , as shown below.
Step 2: After clicking on ‘Control Panel’ then click on ‘Add or Remove Programs’ as shown in below figure then a new window will appear named ‘Add or Remove Programs’, being on that window click on ‘Add/Remove Windows Components’ option, then again a new window will appear named ‘Windows Components Wizard’, in that window some of components will appear, from them select ‘Internet Information Services (IIS)’ as shown below then click on ‘Next’ button.
Step 3: When you click on ‘Next’ button as mentioned on previous page a wizard will open and in few seconds it also prompt to insert Windows XP CD then you must insert Windows XP cd in CD/DVD rom then click on ‘Ok’ button or it will automatically start to install IIS, after successful installation just click on ‘Finish’ button on ‘Windows Component Wizard’ which will appear after successful installation of IIS. Now IIS is installed on your machine.
Step 4: Now to check weather IIS is installed or not, so open your browser ‘Internet Explorer’ and write in Address bar as ‘htttp://localhost’ then press Enter, then if the page will open like show below it means IIS has been installed.
